Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely. [Pause 5 seconds] And as you exhale through your mouth, allow your body to begin releasing any tension, like clouds dissolving in a gentle breeze. [Pause 6 seconds] With each breath, feel yourself becoming more and more comfortable, sinking deeper into a state of peaceful relaxation. [Pause 5 seconds] Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest, like peaceful waves on a calm shore. [Pause 6 seconds] With each breath out, you can let go a little more, drifting further into tranquility. [Pause 7 seconds] Allow your attention to settle on your feet and toes. [Pause 5 seconds] Feel them becoming heavy and relaxed, as if they're being cradled in warm, soft sand. [Pause 6 seconds] This comfortable heaviness flows up through your ankles like warm honey. [Pause 5 seconds] Into your calves and knees, melting away any tension. [Pause 6 seconds] Up through your thighs, each muscle releasing and softening. [Pause 5 seconds] Your entire lower body becoming deeply relaxed, as if floating weightlessly. [Pause 7 seconds] This wave of relaxation continues up through your hips, like a warm, gentle tide. [Pause 5 seconds] Your lower back softening and releasing. [Pause 6 seconds] Your abdomen and chest becoming lighter with each breath. [Pause 5 seconds] Feel your shoulders becoming heavy and loose, as if all the weight of the day is simply floating away. [Pause 6 seconds] Down your arms, like warm sunlight flowing through them. [Pause 5 seconds] Through your hands and fingers, becoming so relaxed they feel almost distant. [Pause 5 seconds] Ten... floating deeper. [Pause 4 seconds] Nine... twice as relaxed. [Pause 4 seconds] Eight... letting go completely. [Pause 4 seconds] Seven... sinking further. [Pause 4 seconds] Six... more and more peaceful. [Pause 4 seconds] Five... drifting downward. [Pause 4 seconds] Four... so very relaxed. [Pause 4 seconds] Three... almost there.
