Welcome to this hypnotherapy session designed to help you reconnect with your authentic self and release the burden of comparison. As we begin, take a deep, nurturing breath in through your nose. [Pause 4 seconds] And exhale slowly through your mouth, letting go of any tension you've been holding. [Pause 6 seconds] Feel yourself sinking deeper with each breath, like a feather floating gently downward on a calm summer breeze. [Pause 5 seconds]
With each breath, allow your body to settle more comfortably into its position, as if you're being embraced by a soft, warm cloud. [Pause 6 seconds] Imagine a golden light of relaxation beginning at the crown of your head, slowly washing over you like warm honey. [Pause 5 seconds]
Focus your attention on your feet and toes. [Pause 4 seconds] Notice any sensations there - perhaps a slight tingling, or warmth, or heaviness. [Pause 5 seconds] As you exhale, let them relax completely, becoming soft and heavy, as if they're melting into the surface beneath them. [Pause 6 seconds]
Moving up to your ankles and calves, release any tension stored there. [Pause 4 seconds] Feel the muscles softening, unwinding, letting go of any holding patterns they've been carrying. [Pause 6 seconds] Imagine these muscles becoming as soft as warm butter in the sun. [Pause 5 seconds]
Let this wave of relaxation flow up through your knees and thighs. [Pause 5 seconds] Each muscle fiber releasing, softening, surrendering to deep comfort. [Pause 6 seconds] Like ice cream melting on a warm day, feel any remaining tension dissolving away. [Pause 7 seconds]
Feel your entire lower body becoming heavy and peaceful, as if it's sinking into the softest cloud you can imagine. [Pause 8 seconds] This relaxation now spreads through your hips and lower back, like warm water flowing into every space, soothing and calming. [Pause 7 seconds]
Up through your abdomen and chest, feel each breath bringing deeper peace. [Pause 5 seconds] With every exhale, you sink ten times deeper into relaxation. [Pause 6 seconds] Your breathing becomes slower, easier, more peaceful. [Pause 7 seconds]
Down your arms to your fingertips, the relaxation flows like a gentle stream. [Pause 5 seconds] Your hands becoming heavy and warm, every finger releasing any remaining tension. [Pause 6 seconds]
Your shoulders release their burden, dropping away from your ears, melting downward like snow in springtime. [Pause 7 seconds] Your neck softens and relaxes, all the accumulated tension of the day dissolving completely. [Pause 6 seconds]
And finally, this peaceful feeling encompasses your entire head, softening your facial muscles, your jaw, even your scalp. [Pause 5 seconds] Feel your forehead becoming smooth and calm, your eyes relaxing so deeply they feel too heavy to open. [Pause 6 seconds] Your jaw becoming loose and comfortable, your tongue relaxing in your mouth. [Pause 7 seconds]
You're now wrapped in a cocoon of complete relaxation, floating in a space of perfect peace and tranquility. [Pause 8 seconds] With each breath, you drift twice as deep, ten times as relaxed, into this wonderful state of calm serenity. [Pause 10 seconds]
