Let's begin by taking a deep, nourishing breath in through your nose. [Pause 4 seconds] And as you exhale through your mouth, feel the first wave of relaxation flowing through your body. [Pause 5 seconds] With each breath, you'll notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest and abdomen. [Pause 4 seconds] Each breath brings you deeper into a state of peaceful relaxation. As you take your first step down, feel the relaxation double. [Pause 8 seconds] Another step down, sinking deeper. [Pause 8 seconds] With each step, your mind becomes more peaceful.
